Stage

Status updated 2 November 2026: Ricorda Studio remains supported; Ricorda ID is retired. Patient browser consent, history, booking and pass paths, and existing identities, remain supported.

01 / Initial challenge

Treatment information, practitioner notes and aftercare often live in disconnected systems—or disappear after an appointment. The product needed to serve a professional workflow and a personal record without turning either into an administrative burden.

02 / Opportunity

Create a shared product system in which practitioners can document care clearly and clients can keep a portable, useful history of their treatments.

03 / Strategy

Originally ship two focused apps around one connected record: Ricorda Studio for practitioners and Ricorda ID for clients. The shared language and data model now support Studio and the continuing patient-browser journeys.

04 / Product experience

Studio supports appointments, treatment documentation, consent and aftercare. Ricorda ID is retired; patient consent, history, booking and pass journeys continue in the browser, with existing identities supported.

05 / Technical approach

A shared Flutter codebase originally powered Studio and ID on iOS and Android. Studio remains supported, alongside Firebase-backed patient-browser paths, access control, consent workflows, Stripe integration and the React website and administrative surface.
