Information this site collects
This website does not provide visitor accounts. The product-build enquiry form sends your name, email, optional company or website, brief, budget range and timing to the studio’s hosting database. The separate contact page prepares a draft in your email app, which you choose to send there.
Project enquiries
Bitter Honey uses your enquiry to assess fit, respond and discuss a potential engagement. This processing supports steps towards an engagement and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing.
Enquiries are stored with Cloudflare through our website hosting provider and can be reviewed by the studio’s authorised site administrators. If studio email alerts are enabled, the same enquiry details are also forwarded to the studio’s inbox through Resend. A daily keyed hash of your connection address is used for abuse prevention; the enquiry database does not store the raw address. Basic hosting logs may still include technical connection information. We review unanswered or inactive enquiries for deletion after 90 days; records needed for an ongoing engagement or legal obligations may be retained longer. Please avoid confidential records and sensitive personal data in your initial brief.
Analytics, attribution and hosting
Basic technical logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security, reliability and service operation. If you arrive through a campaign link, its campaign labels and click identifiers may be kept in session storage and included in an enquiry you choose to send. They expire with the browser session.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement from Google, Meta or LinkedIn may be enabled to understand site use, measure enquiries and evaluate campaigns. Those optional tags do not load unless they have been configured and you select “Allow optional”. You can revisit your choice through the Privacy settings control in the footer. Choosing “Essential only” keeps optional measurement disabled.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction or ask for deletion where the law allows. You may also object to or restrict certain processing.
